Dalmatian Nails

While on the Internet one day last week I came across this.  As soon as I saw it I thought ‘I’m doing that!’ and so here is my Dalmatian creation:

For this design I used Models Own Snow White for the base, which only needed 2 coats this time instead of the 5 I had to use when I first got it, I think with this shade it really does thicken the further down the bottle u go (or the longer the lid is left off).  I used Models Own/Wah Nails black Nail Pen to do the designs and Models Own 3-in-1 Base Coat, Top Coat and Gloss for the top.  As you can see from the photos the Topcoat did smudge some of my Dalmatian spots and I’m not sure if this was because I used too much of the topcoat or that I didn’t wait long enough for the design to dry completely.  I really do need more practice at painting paw prints I think but for a first attempt these didn’t turn out too bad.  This design is defiantly one of my favourites as it’s a little bit quirky and is different to the normal leopard print that everyone loves!
