So as it looks like we’ve got some wet weather over the next few days I thought I’d do a rainy design. For this design I used Models Own Lemon Meringue and Feeling Blue for the base coats along with Models Own Fuzzy Peach, Pastel Pink and Top Turquoise to paint the rainy designs on with a thin nail brush. I also used a few of my nail pens to do the smaller details. I really love the colours in this design and I love the ducks even though they didn’t turn out as well as I wanted! This design took about 1 and a half hours to do so I’m gradually getting quicker. I think the trick is learning what order to paint things so that you aren’t waiting for any paint to dry and not swapping colours as often as that takes up a surprising amount of time too!

♥ Valentines Nails ♥
So as it’s Valentines Day on Monday I thought it would be a good time to do a Valentines design. I started these a few days ago when I had an hour spare but I didn’t have time to finish them so I finally finished them last night! For these I used Models Own Red Alert, Snow White and Black Magic along with my red, white and black nail pens. I also used some of the heart shaped rhinestones, which I mentioned in my ‘Nail Daze Xmas List’ Post and of course I finished the design with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. My favourite nail is the index finger nail. This design took nearly 2 hours in total to do but was worth it I think. Hope you all have a lovely Valentines Day, whether you are single or in a relationship! xXx

Free Barry M Set available this weekend!
Tomorrow Buzz Magazine (inside The Sun) is giving away a free Barry M make-up kit worth over £9! This set includes a tube of lip gloss, a black kohl eyeliner pencil and a pot of nail varnish. These colours are limited edition shades and so will not be available in the shops. To get this free make-up set, all readers have to do is take the voucher which is in this Saturday’s Buzz magazine to their nearest participating Superdrug store. The nail varnish is a raspberry colour and will really suit the warmer weather we are starting to have and I’m definitely going to be using this yummy shade in a nail design very soon :)

Welsh Nails
So here is the Welsh design I did in preparation for the Wales Vs. England Rugby match last Friday night. Unfortunately the night didn’t quite go to plan and resulted in me working until 10, missing the match and then to top it off Wales lost! For this design I used Models Own: Red Alert, Snow White and Green Grass along with some of my nail pens and Seche Vite dry fast topcoat. This design took about an hour and a half to do, while watching Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, which I LOVE so I wasn’t concentrating as much as usual but they turned out pretty good I think. My favourite nail is defiantly the index finger with the three feathers on. For the next Welsh game I am going to try and get some little welsh dragon stickers to make this design a bit better.
